Make a DonationEric Gingold was a 27-year old son, grandson, brother, uncle and future husband, successful at everything he did in life, when diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of sino-nasal cancer.

Being fun-loving and outgoing, Eric walked through life with a constant smile on his face. Even though he lived in New York City, there were limited treatment options available and few doctors with any real expertise.  Outside of New York and a few other large cancer institutions, his cancer was, and still is, virtually unknown.

Throughout Eric’s three year struggle, his zest for life never wavered.  He continually demonstrated tremendous courage and amazing strength, both physically and emotionally, thus being an inspiration to all of those whose lives he touched.  Eric’s concern for others, even in the midst of his own struggles with this chronic disease, is the basis upon which the Eric R. Gingold Foundation has been created.

Our mission is to financially support efforts aimed at curing cancer and other chronic diseases that negatively impact the lives of so many loved ones, as his cancer did to us.  It is our goal to honor Eric’s memory, his concern for others, and his courage and strength, by funding research and projects that enhance the quality of life for patients and their families through increased awareness, prevention, earlier detection, and improved treatment options for the less common forms of these diseases.  Hopefully our efforts will insure greater survivorship in the future!
